"Turk" - Sunflowers's Arabian Knight - born August 18, 1996
OFA H/E, barium x-rayed normal esophagus.
"Turk" is not typical of his sire's children,
though not show quality himself, "Turk"
has produced some very nice puppies. Most are in pet homes but
those few that have been shown have done well.
"Turk" is the sire of one champion so far with several young
daughters that will be shown for the first time in 2001.
"Turk" was placed in a home with Kelly Mightow on November 28/00,
in Redwater, Alberta, I wanted my "problem child" in a home where
he could get the 'one on one' attention he always wanted, he did
not like sharing the attention............. smile
In late December/00 Kelly called to say "Turk" was doing great,
I was very happy to hear things were going so well ......
In February/01 I called to check again, only to find that Kelly
had moved, leaving no forwarding address or phone number,
I have not had any success in finding Kelly. I have no idea where
"Turk" is and can only hope and pray that my "problem child" is okay.
The signed written contract with Kelly giving me visitation rights,
is now just a piece of paper.
As of January 21, 2004 I still have not heard anything about "Turk".

CH. Sunflower's The Pretender - born January 3, 1998
prelimed OFA good H/E barium x-rayed normal esophagus
"Jarrod" a real 'showoff' finished his championship as a young boy,
with many BPIG and group placements. He loved the showring and was/is
one of those special ones that a breeder aims to produce.
"Jarrod" was one of five GSD that I moved from Terrace, BC to Edmonton,
AB with, he did not take well to several months of motel living, that
along with financial problems forced the sale of my "black devil" in
September/99 to what seemed a great home where he was to be a
loved family pet. This turned out to be untrue,
instead "Jarrod" is a yard dog and his new "owners" have
been unreachable for over a year.
He was sold on a written contract with stud rights.
In February/01 I finally received a phone call from "Jarrod's"
owners saying he was doing fine and they would be moving to Saudia
Arabia in a couple of weeks and taking "Jarrod" with them.
As of January 21, 2004 they still have not given me their address overseas.
